My book is finally on Amazon!

My first book is finally available to the world, thanks to Amazon. Check it out:

It just came out today, so I haven't sold any copies yet.

I'm working on getting it on Kindle, and would like to see if I can lower the price for the paperback. They gave me a minimum dollar amount that I can ask. In the meantime, I think it's a pretty good read for the money. There's even a 1973 911S in it. (Of course.) Enjoy!

Hey is the first paragraph worded correctly on Amazon -- sounds like it's around the wrong way --- It Reads :

"Pick the wrong number, and you could win millions. Choose correctly, and you’re dead,"

The idea behind The Lottery quickly becomes apparent in the prologue. You pick one number between 1 and 6. If you pick, say, 4 and the number 4 comes up, you're toast. If you pick another number, you win a fortune. Like Russian Roulette. Would you play? I created a world where such a game is an attractive option for the most desperate.

Very cool, Charlie...like winning the lottery, huh?

I couldn't help myself:p

Great stuff. I hope it's successful.

The "idea" reminds me of a French movie about Russian Roulette.
It starts off with 12 guys in a circle and everyone spins their chamber and then shoot the guy next to them.
They'd keep going until one guy is left and he would get a lot of money. Brutal movie but I can't remember the title.

If I make a lot of money on it, I'll say, "Some people win the lottery. I wrote it."

Sounds like a great book! I just told my wife about it (she loves this type of stuff).

Do me a favor- if it becomes a hit movie, try to work TABS in some graffiti in the underground (he would have predicted the great collapse after all) :D

Again- congrats!

Thanks. I won't have to watch A Serbian Film tonight since I am now freaked out plenty from that trailer.

I got it set up on Kindle for $2.99. It should be available within 72 hours max.

OffCamber00 07-10-2017 06:48 AM

Congrats! Will definitely get the Kindle version.

sammyg2 07-10-2017 04:26 PM

now I know what to get you for Christmas! ;)

ckissick 07-10-2017 05:05 PM

It's on Kindle!

I added two short stories on Kindle. One's totally sci fi, the other is very Steinbeck-ish. For 99 cents you can take a quick read and see if it's worth it to spend $2.99 on a whole book. Of course, it's much harder to sell a book than it is to write one.
