The All-New Porsche 911 Carrera T
The all-new 911 Carrera T (T stands for touring) is being called the entry level Carrera. This "special edition" is for the Porsche enthusiast that isn't looking for excessive power at a relatively inexpensive price tag, $103,150. It is equipped with the twin turbo 3.0L flat-six engine and puts down 370hp/339lbtq. It comes dressed with a 7 speed manual transmission, but that will cost you more- an additional $3,730. Or you can stick with the PDK dual-clutch automatic.
You have pull straps for door handles, thinner glass for the rear/quarter windows, reduced sound insulation, and in Europe Porsche will ship it without a stereo. Back up cameras are still an option for the U.S. models and the T will be the lightest model in the line-up- 3142 pounds. So what makes it entry level? The regular 911 carrera (without the T or S) is a 370HP and has an MSRP of 11,000 less than the T version.

I don't understand why Porsche is selling a 911 with only 370HP. Those are laughable numbers these days. You can probably buy a Honda Accord with that kind of power in a NA V6. IMHO, 911s should be at least 500HP.

Just looked at the UK spec, doesn't make sense against a standard Carrera;
Price Weight Carrera £77,891.00 1,430 kg Carrera T £85,576.00 1,425 kg I make that £1537 per kg, just go on a diet!
