If that's what you meant, I applaud UPS, but I've never heard of that being done.

Perhaps there has been so much theft in recent years, UPS is getting tired of dinging their insurance.

No, onto the side of the house that has cement and tons of junk piled up everywhere. The UPS driver launched my new speakers over the fence without even looking. Fortunately, they landed on the lawn mower basket and not directly on the cement.

The UPS drive does not need applauding in this case! Also, tossing an expensive set of speakers over the fence without even looking is a good chance of an insurance claim.

I'd opt for multiple cams....one right in plain sight just begging to be messed with, and another one more discreet monitoring it. Then you have something to actually pursue when they take the bait. If the obvious camera deters them....problem solved, if they mess with your camera....even better :)

EXACTLY!

Its really unlikely someone doing vandalism in an area they could be recognized would see a game cam. There's probably in and out in 60 seconds - not casing the joint for security.

The SD card is in the camera... So yeah if they took it you lose evidence, but I'd say pretty darn unlikely.

Have you established any pattern to the vandalism and have you spoken to any of your neighbors?

I have seen IR security cams that have IR floodlights (invisible to the human eye), but no idea on the cost of such a setup.

I am not on speaking terms with two sets of neighbors. I know why they are mad at me but not saying why at this point in time. There is no point in talking to them. Property damage is minor at this point in time but may get a Peace Bond/restraining order to prevent them approaching our property. Breach of this Peace Bond/restraining order gets them a police record.

But I need proof of property damage so right now it is mere speculation.

That's what the trail cams use fwiw. Good luck Guy....get a couple of cams (Blink or Moultrie...doesn't matter imo) and set your neighbors up :). Personally, I'd be hoping they actually stole or vandalized one (captured on video of course)....raises the stakes imo.

How are these neighbors?
Can you put an obvious fake cam that is monitored by a couple of trail cams?
I mean, if it's war, it's on.
