Flan
Ok my daughter is mad because I cant find a Good Flan recipe. We used to occasionally use a mix that we liked and now we cant remember which one to get..... any Flan lovers?
I have not heard about flan for a long time. It used to be more common in the UK where I come from. If you googled it there likely are a ton of recipes.
It is pretty standard at Mexican restaurants around here. I googled a great recipe a few years ago but have not made it lately. Not to hard to make but it does take time.

I like Filipino Leche Flan, a bit more jello-like, though some do prep it like Mexican Flan. Probably passed on via the Galleon Trade anyway...
Here is one: Leche Flan Recipe No affiliation and I am not the baker/chef in the family. |
My Daughter is counting on you guys......
When the wife is up later I'll ask for her recipe, family recipe, and she moved here from Puerto Rico when she was 11... the coconut cream cheese one she makes is to DIE for...
Also check out crème caramel, which is what a lot of people call "flan".
I was just thinking about your guys. How is your daughter doing? We haven't heard much about her since dry run #2.
hmmm..mexican flan. someone told me a cheat for the caramel once..but have forgotten it. :(
Good flan is an oxymoron.
