What do you think about this?
The more I see this, the more I can't believe it. The owner of this restoration shop I worked at previously takes out and drives clients cars anytime he pleases. Not just to shows and concourse but also to take the wife out to dinner or cruise the coast. He posts these drives and cars on Facebook.
If you owned a car that was being worked on or stored at a shop, would you let your mechanic or bodyman drive it around like it was his own any time they wanted? Now, mostly it's one particular client and he supposedly gave permission to start and drive his cars to keep them in working order. But it seems to me that this is far beyond that. |

It's between the client and the shop owner. I imagine if he is posting the stuff on social media, he either has the owner's permission or places showing off above retaining clients.
There was a local contract project manager who lived in Florida and worked here during the week. Rather than keep his Cayman at airport parking he gave it to a friend of mine's to drive every weekend. |

Mine would be start it and take around the block, not treat as your own and drive whenever and wherever you please. If client was not clear, that's on him. Specificity, it matters. |
