Alternative to Pandora radio (commercial free)

I am pretty hooked on Pandora radio. I have about 20 channels, everything from Bach to ZZ Top to Miles Davis.
I pay the $4 a month for the commercial free version.
I like it a lot, they changed their format and I don't like it very much but it is workable.
I have been using it for years so I was just wondering if they have any competition?

If I were to switch it would have to be commercial free.
Close to $4 (rules out Siirus).
Easy to use on Android and computer.
Have channels, like rock, blues, jazz, classical, Lithuanian folk music, etc.

IHeart Radio

Look for listener sponsored stations.

For the last 5 years or so we have listened to literally one station.

KKXT. 91.7 out of Dallas

Look them up on the web, check their playlist.

It's a great mix of stuff you grew up on, up and coming new artists and local unknowns.

We were hearing Leon Bridges long before he hit the national scene.

People say there is no good new music.

Bunny slippers, there's a ton, you just need to get off the beaten track.

I really prefer choosing what I listen to - so use various MP3 devices with various rechargeable speakers.

Working inside my home this morning and have You Tube playing various full albums of my choosing....like "Brothers and Sisters" by The Allman Brothers Band. I remember it was their first album without Duane playing on any of the songs. ....historic in that sense.....

+1 on Amazon music. I've been a constant Pandora (paid) listener for years but I've been using Amazon Music more and more. I like their algorithm better, less repeat songs and more content variety than Pandora so far.
