When I checked about 15 years ago they were in the $900-1000 range. So....yeah.

I have a couple of AeroStitch 2 piece suits. For my first set I ordered two pair and two different sizes and kept the one that fit best. Then I sent back the Darian jacket and they tailored it free of charge.
The second set I bought 2nd hand.
Yeah, AeroStitch is top drawer. They'll bend over backwards to please the customer.
I've always wanted their Roadcrafter suit.
.
I had one of their hot wired under-jackets and after 12 years it quit heating.
I sent it back and the wires were dried and rotted.
They ripped out the wires and sent it back to me...free of charge.
It's still a great jacket that I wear now 'n then.
Yeah, AeroStitch is top drawer.
.
The owner was honored recently in the national business community for something.
One of the good guys.

The "leather" for the Adventure guys.

I have an older BMW textile jacket I still wear and some Core Tech pants I don't. Pants have liners for them and armor. Shoot me a pm if you want me to check to size of the pants for you.

Have looked at boots yet?

Both First Gear and Tourmaster make very good suits, jackets and pants for about 60% less than Aerostitch.

I use First Gear Kilimanjaro with the understanding it won't last as long as the stitch... but it performs very well and I replace it after about 6 or 7 years of use. Water proof and comfortable. One of my riding buds wears Aerostitch... He has the same suit for over 10 years... sends it in to them periodically for cleaning and minor repairs. still looks and works like new.... though it doesn't color match his current bike. I know I like to get new outfits periodically, so the shorter lifespan of the suit is a non issue for me. For my sportbike riding I prefer and wear leather... so Aerostitch is not an option.

Kim also makes good adventure riding gear.

+1- I have been very happy with First Gear riding pants and jackets. Pretty flexible in the way of armor, and I used a heated jacket under the coat for winter riding.

I have a lot of First Gear, Tour Master and Olympia stuff, but have never crash-tested any of it.

How long are you guys keeping helmets?

First Gear is a good value I found a Kathmandu jacket 50% off and pants 20% off 2 different on line retailers, both new.

Pretty happy but I dont look that cool.

Klim stuff is pretty nice. But salty.

I've got an Aerostich Roadcrafter 1 piece in Hi-Viz yellow that I bought 14 years ago. I recall paying something around $1k for it. It has intermittent use and beginning 1 year ago its been used daily for the commuting to NYC (18k miles). I'm looking at buying a second suit from them - specifically the Darien Light jacket and matching light weight pants. I figure this will be better in the hot summer weather. I also have Aerostich elkskin gloves, heated windstopper jacket, and a pair of fleece pants.

They definitely make some of the best moto gear on the planet. You get what you pay for.

paying homage to my dirt days and went with a Bell. (my wife hates my helmet and wants me to buy a fluor yellow one, so i do have an Arai Xd-4 in my shopping cart..just waiting for the dust (literally and figuratively) from my front yard re-landscaping project to settle)

Just got email from Aerostich...sale. Some suits marked down 20%, so less than $1k. Colors and sizes are limited.

the USED gear i got from Eric here on the forum is pretty awesome. i keep thinking i'm gonna find his house keys or some forgotten credit card in some pocket because there are pockets EVERYWHERE. i think the arm tightening straps are a stroke of genius. cinched down, they keep the armor in place really well.

what is pretty shocking to me are how well the vents work. moving, i've survived some pretty warm days around here. stopped..wow..i'm hot.

i'll buy a summer jacket and call it good. probably not a Klim summer jacket tho.

it was pretty nerve-racking putting all the stuff thru the wash cycle. hahah..

I recently received my second set of Aerostich gear: Darien Lite Jacket and AD1 lite pants. This is my summer weight kit, and I'll use the one piece roadcrafter as my winter weight kit. Motorcycle riding is much more enjoyable when you are geared up properly.
