Which used iPad to get? Time tracking software?
I need an iPad for time tracking software to track how many hours I put into a job.
Which iPad is good to get? On time tracking I want to clock in and out of a job, say window frame restoration, with discreet sections: Customer Fred -Door frames --Disassembly & cleaning ---Main hoop - sanding ---Main hoop - polishing ---Vertical - sanding ---Vertical - polishing --Final cleaning --Assembly etc. stuff like that so I need fairly simple software that allows me to just touchscreen in and out of doing a job. Recommendations? |
Are you going to be doing anything else with the IPad?
The mini is great for this if you don't need the real estate on the screen. Are there any body shop job tracking apps? I know there are tons of industry specific apps out there. My HVAC guy carries an iPad mini and can build out a quote or invoice complete with pics from his iPad. |
I have a couple of older iPads I'd make you a great swap/offer/deal on if you'd like.

Sid, just for time tracking. Not a fan of a mini, too small...I'm sure i could use my phone but way too small.
Hey Lewis! Might work, sending you an email now. I am considering getting a new iMac and using my MBPro for time tracking but I like the idea of a tablet sitting on the bench better than a laptop. |
Replied to email.

Got an first edition mini with phone that I would let go real cheap.
