The teacher was nervous about teaching the birds and the bees to her 4th grade class, so she thought she would ask some questions to see how much they already knew.
Little Johnny put his hand up first.
"I went to a movie and saw John Wayne kill 20 bad guys."
The teacher was a little perplexed, but went on to the next kid.
Then Johnny's hand shot up again.
"I went to a movie and saw John Wayne kill 50 outlaws."
The teacher was a little perplexed, but again went on to the next kid.
When he finished Johnny couldn't contain himself.
"In one movie John Wayne killed 200 Indians!"
The teacher was losing her patience.
"OK Johnny, tell the class what all these John Wayne movies can teach us about the birds and the bees."
"Teacher - it'll teach not to f*ck with John Wayne!"

My mother spent many years on part of what was once the Chisum ranch when she was a girl.
My Grandmother was the cook and grandfather was a ranch hand.
It was owned by my great great uncle Haynes.
I never met the man.

All of my family's departed (on mother's side) going back 100 years or so years are buried in the White Oaks cemetery.
