Very Moving Story - Son Finds His Dad's First Car then Buys It

I came across this yesterday and found it extremely moving............................to say the least. I love all things car / motorcycle culture, especially 50's to early 70's. I've arrived at a point that stories like this eclipse the car itself.

I know it's presented as a commercial - but I dare anyone here to not feel tears welling up at the end, considering the long journey for the two sons.

Enjoy.

Despite being a commercial, it's a good one. A street monster back in '66, despite it being a full sized Imapala. Four on the floor as well. The old man was indeed a "car guy".

I always wanted to do the same with my dad's 1953 356, which he bought new in Germany. But I had no way of finding it without knowing the VIN. Besides, he would have killed me for spending $250K on a car. Not that I could anyway.

Glad the dad didn't have a heart attack on the spot!
