VIR August 25-27
Anyone going to the race that weekend? Taking my son Saturday and Sunday.
It's been 13 years since I was there. Has a lot changed, can you still just walk through the pits?

I will be there! We camp every year! I think Risi (#62 GTLM Ferrari) will be making their return at this race...they have been on a bit of a "hiatus" for the past few races, I think since Le mans. You can't walk through the "hot pits" without credentials, during the race. However, there is a grid walk before the start and you can see the pits then, I think. But access to the paddock area is still open and most excellent; you will get your fill of guys wrenching on cars! I love the venue!

 I think he liked watching the race, but he really liked getting close to the cars. I forgot to take a picture of him in one of the GT3 cars.
