My daughter correcter her teacher one day and when the teacher said daughter was wrong said daughter showed teacher the video from Porsche on how to pronounce it. Teacher then said the video was obviously wrong. She also had a teacher that said Mercury was the hottest planet since it was closest to the sun and then argued when she was corrected.
She no longer attends that public school. People mispronounce stuff because they don't give a rats pajamas.
