Spa and the Nurburgring were the insane tracks for me from that era, but they were all pretty impressive to be honest.

I can remember when this movie came out. It was one of, if not the, first movie to give a look at speed from that perspective ie driver's view.

URY, Those are Formula 3 cars dressed up to look like Formula 1. Some real F1 footage was used too.

URY, Yeah James Garner played a good game. Bumped into him a couple times at races but never really got to know him. He and Hap Sharp both came from Tulsa and I knew Franz Weis and the Hall brothers from 1963 when Franz worked for Cyd Czekaj in Dallas at Cyd's German Automotive over by Texas Instruments on Floyd Circle and that whole bunch roamed the same circles.
