I am heading down tomorrow and Sunday. Unfortunately the vintage run along the old course (through town) is going on now...and I am missing it.

It's upstate. Peliosi wouldn't fit in too well. They aren't quite as insane as the snowflakes farther south. Sadly they are heavily outnumbered.


And I'm there with the family for tomorrow at least. The tank at Red Lobster leaked all over at dinner - that's about as much excitement as you'll get up here...

I saw something I have never seen at the glen before...a car on top of the armco coming out of turn 9.
I have seen cars stuck in the armco, but never on top of it. Worst of all it was a 911 that apparently got launched due to contact with a corvette. I have pictures of the aftermath that I will post when my phone has enough charge.

It was a great day with some of my all-time favorite cars.

where did the shunt happen? cannot tell. what class? looks like a substantial hit

Yeah , spectaculsr shunt at 9. Overall disappointed at the turnout, think lots of the better iron was at lime rock. The lemans slr was very cool in the garage and on track and the companion longhood was very well driven.
