Long as we're into various emotional things. Are you envious? Something you'd like to have or be able to do?

I suppose with me, it's more pure admiration than anything. What this guy does has been filmed and analyzed many times. Can anybody else do it as well? Nope.

Not a big pool player so that doesn't interest me much... for me it would be the great guitar players, EVH, SRV, etc.

Well, Mr. Perfect...the guy in the opening video will be in Vegas before long. A little thing called the Mosconi cup. The best of Europe pool players vs. the best of the USA. Forget which casino will be hosting it. Pretty loud and rowdy event with fans of both cheering, which is usually frowned upon. Europe has dominated the past few years. Teams being selected now.

No. I think envious is an extreme and perhaps unhealthy form of admiration. There are people I admire.

Absolutely, but I chalk it up to making different life decisions. I admire artists, but I look at the ones who worked for me and realize - they worked for ME and they were probably envious of me for being a successful businessman able to give them jobs.

Having said that, I am not envious, but I envy people who are.

I really don't want and certainly don't need anything more in my life. I don't think my life would be improved by "striking it rich".

There was a 5-10 year period in my late 20s/early 30s where I was mostly single and I was a bit envious of friends with happy families. I have since married and have a lovely wife and great children so that period is behind me.

I am sometimes envious of others but never jealous. There are people/friends of mine that have something really great. I can be envious but I'm also completely happy with my own situation. I may strive for things that I'm envious of and that's motivation for me.
