Blackberry phones catching my eye---who's still using them?
I've recently found myself looking at Blackberry phones--mainly the KEYone. I currently have an Iphone 6, and do like its ability to link to my MacBook, but I love the keyboard of the Blackberry. I really only use my phone for email, talking, surfing the net, and texting--not maximizing the ability of a smart phone by any means.
Now, who's using the KEYone (or a newer Blackberry), who switched back to Blackberry from other phones, and are you happy about it? On the other side of the fence, who had a new Blackberry, and then switched away from them? Why so? Thanks for your input, everyone! |
My wife tried to use one of the last ones they tried to market as an alternative to the iPhone a few years ago. I forgot which model but I think it was a Q10. She and I were BB holdouts and really wanted to stay with a keyboard. Unfortunately it had the user interface and convenience of a brick. It was just an awful phone. She quickly switched to an iPhone and I transitioned to an iPhone when my older BB expired.
I think there's a reason no one uses Blackberries any more. I hate not having a physical keyboard but the iPhone's ease of use and total functionality make it a horse to jet airplane comparison. |
I had a Classic. Keyboard and email were the best. Screen and 'Apps' not so much.
My employer forced me onto Apple. Overall, an iPhone is far superior. As much as I hate to admit it... |
I have the one that runs the droid operating system.
It IS NOT a Blackberry in any sense but the name................ I hate the fooking thing, marginally less than I hate anything apple. |
I would use it if I could afford it..
I hate typing on the screen of the smart phones.. and make a ton of mistakes so I'm always fixing what I type.. I miss the BB keyboard.. |
