Guys,

I'm really disappointed with the insults and comments being hurled back and forth at each other by 5-6 of you.

Why not use this thread to call each other names, fire insults, and behave like you never would to one another in person.

I think we are all pretty good guys here even though we seldom all agree on anything.

Can't believe you guys participate in that bs. Every single thread . You are lucky to make it to the bottom of the page before it starts. I don't post in parf, because I feel I cannot intelligently discuss modern politics. Seems that is not really a requirement .

Unclebilly I agree. it's getting tiresome. entire threads are being manipulated by a couple guys who hate each others online personalities and they go on and on and on. a couple of the usual suspects have at least suspended the nonsense for the vegas thread but dips and bey are still making a national tragedy a stage for their insults.

I pop over to PARF on occasion to see some funny political cartoons, and then check a few threads. The one by Reiver about Muslims actually taught me a lot. There are some gems of knowledge and common sense and a few decent opinions.

Then the name callers get involved and it gets stupid. And then it goes downhill into pointlessness and idiocy. I bail out.

It's kinda funny when almost an entire page is filled with "this message is hidden"..you can still pick out the good info.

I'm with you there. There are some great thread topics for lively discussion and I like to peruse them on occasion and they almost always go to **** because of the same characters.

They can't keep it on topic and they try to out do each other with stupidity. Who wants to get involved with that?

If this is about PARF I suggest corking this thread, and perhaps installing a backflow diverter.

I pop into parf sub forums in the 2-3 primary websites I participate in. I enjoyed the varied perspectives. However, PP's is by far the worst. These forms are by nature for the thick skinned, but pelican's is by far the most juvenile. So if this thread is for name calling I am calling 99.84% of parf poopieheads and agreed to not bring the nonsense into the other forums (except for this thread, have a ball).

I look at PARF occasionally. There are maybe half a dozen or so names I just skip over when I see them. Don't bother reading what they post. They are generally people I'd avoid if I knew who they were and saw them on the street. Very limited intellect, views, & probably ways of approaching life & people in general. Very distasteful.

Once in a while there is actually a decent conversation for page or two, then, as you say, the usual suspects start throwing turds and it devolves into the SOS.
