that sounds great. Well, great except for the coyotes. I see tons a birds everday but I still stop and watch the hawk or blue herron whenever I see them. Sitting on the boat last night just after sunset, awesome moon!, I watched a herron glide around the creek for a while. Sounds so simple I'm sure but I was captivated.

Even though I live in SoCal, I enjoy a change of seasons - sort of. Since I live at around 3.5K ft. altitude, changes are more pronounced than down toward the coast. The days & nights are already cooling. We've had several times when it has gotten into the high 30's at night, and the leaves are turning on some trees. We get a little snow here sometimes in the winters, but it's usually gone in a day or so. That allows us to enjoy it without having to actually deal with it. I can see the change in the angle of the sun during the days and smell the seasonal change. It's always uplifting.
