ROKU Question

Just got a ROKU and can't believe how much I can get with this thing and will soon cut the cord. Question for those who have it. How much does it cost you per month with all the available apps that are out there? So far I have Netflix, Showtime and HBO , Sling, most of the network channels, my local news channels, and about 5 automotive channels. Any advice on how to not go overboard on this is appreciated.

It is an open source media client.

It's functionality can be extended by a plug ins.

I have a CETON card in a PC with a cable card.

Adding NextPVR to it allows me to stream content from multiple sources to pretty much any device in the home including live TV.

Means I don't need to rent set tops from my provider.

Some people make plug ins for it that allow access to content you would, and should, normally pay for. ;)

The guy who updated Exodus is no longer updating it. Look for Wolf Pac. It's got some interesting stuff.

ROKU addict,Netflix and Sling here. So about $30-$35.

Pluto TV is a great free ROKU app. Live CNBC.

Have roku at home and office. Use it only for Netflix. Haven't really found other channels worth using.

We have been Roku users for over a year now , basic Sling service plus " blue/orange " package . Total cost is $40.00 a month . We also pay 7.99 for Hulu and this together covers all that we watch .

Covenant is the "official" replacement for Exodus

But as long as your set up works updates are not really neccesary.
