Really cool video.

F'kn right on, man! Everybody dies. Not everyone lives.

Totally dig this. The soul peers through eyes that are bound to a machine that is falling apart underneath them, but strap that failing body to a bike that does listen to their commands and they're young again for a while.

I like that they took their buddy's portrait with them!

"Four wheels move the body but two wheels move the soul!"

Thanks for posting this, Jeff!

What was the name of that movie where Anthony Hopkins rides the Indian ? I haven't seen that since it came out.

astrochex 10-13-2017 04:17 AM

^ World's Fastest Indian.

Great video, quite moving.

My father passed away a few years ago at the age of 84. He rode everyday until cancer demanded he couldn't. He rode with other oldsters on pretty significant rides, 5 Peaks in Five Days in Colorado, etc.

He died quickly, less than four months from diagnosis to death.

He asked me, in his last month, to start making arrangements for getting those things he wanted for others to have to them.

"What about the Harley?", I asked.

"That stays with me." The look he gave me was emphatic.

Really nice!

I've noticed something... when I talk to people around the world, young and old, about various topics...

As a rule, when guys talk about motorcycles, they speak so passionately. For some reason, motorcycles do something to people that is hard to put into words. Motorcycles rev their hearts and souls.

DaveE 10-13-2017 02:22 PM

Awesome! I hope I’m still able to ride into my 80s.

When you ride your bike - in your concentration, there's no room for your problems.
I find myself closing my eyes for a second or two to soak in, the wind in my face.

Honda should hire the guy behind that. Hell, everyone should hire that person.
