We have eggs or pancakes for supper every so often.
I never eat breakfast (well very very seldom).

For sure.
Many restaurant (including McDonald) have "All day Breaky". You stomach does not care what is coming down at any given time. My best breaky, cold Pizza or a Burger King Whopper. About 20 years ago I was the one to get BK Canada to get on with the program and serve burger 24 hrs a day. While complaining about not being able to order one at 08:30, I ask the Canadian vice-president lady that was giving me lips if the BK stand for Burger King or fuchen Breakfast King??? It was rather quiet in my open concept office as well as on the other end of the phone line...

I used to do that, but I seldom do it now. I seldom do a traditional breakfast at all, except for the occasional brunch on Sunday. When I do a brunch, I usually do something pretty big.
I'd much rather do leftover dinner for breakfast then the usual breakfast food. I also hate going out for breakfast, because almost no restaurants can properly cook eggs. |

Just picked up another pound of thick cut, brown sugar infused bacon from the Kroger deli today....mix that with home grown free range eggs from the back yard, and a bit of salsa, YUM !

I've never had this. I don't think it was "a thing" when I was in Japan. And I'm not sure that it sounds good to me, but I'd have to have this particular version if I got the opportunity. It's too Japanese not to.

Most definitely a thing here in Japan. It’s a wonderful dish. Usually served with ketchup on top. My favorite is curry omuraisu. Japanese families eat curry rice so often that when they get tired of it they can reform it into an omelette. This is typically served for lunch though.
Japanese also love having pancakes as a afternoon sweet. Usually not at breakfast. If you want a confusing meal in the morning, try a traditional Japanese breakfast: grilled fish, rice, miso soup...It’s tasty but doesn’t go with coffee. Quote:

The problem with breakfast for dinner is that I like to have a cocktail before dinner. Gin and scrambled eggs just don't go together. But, I'm retired now, I could have a martini while I watch the morning news and lasagna with a glass of chianti for breakfast and scrambled eggs and oj for dinner. That would work.
