Turn it over to your insurance, I’m sure they’ll go after his insurance for payment. That’s going to take a lot of work to make right.

Already with them. In Ontario we are under no fault insurance. If you are in a collision and its not your fault it does not go against your record, you pay nothing and your rate is not affected. Both insurance company pay for the damage in 99.9% of the case. Very rarely does an insurance company ask the other company to pay.

In this case, its a no fault accident (no other vehicle involve). My insurance pays for the repair (not at-fault comprehensive claim), I pay nothing (contrary to what I originally thought) and it does not affect my driving record or my rate.

Thatís going to take a lot of work to make right.

Oh yeah, more damage then what I originally posted...
Suppose to get the quote late today.

My parents were caught in a thunderstorm on the Interstate and ducked under an overpass thinking it would protect their car. Part of the roof still received hail damage, because the wind was blowing the hail almost horizontally. But even worse was the dirt and sand picked up by the 80 MPH winds actually sandblasted one entire side of their nearly new van. The damage was bad enough that there was etching in the glass and aluminum wheels on that side. I believe they needed a full respray, new glass, and refinished wheels. When I saw your damage, it looked really similar.
