Loreto Bay BCS Mexico....what to do/see there?

The lady and I are headed there this Saturday for a week. We're really looking forward to some RnR......but no G clubs allowed on this trip....says she! We have rented a casa for the week in Loreto Bay. Well...what is there to do and see? We're not renting a car on this trip so we need advice on things to do and see that are close by. Some good hikes maybe?

Post away fellow PPOTs...you guys always give great advice!:D

Thanks in advance!

Hola!

sounds like some great time off - warm, sunshine, beach, your lady. That and some good food would be enough for me.

Nice kayaking around Loreto.
Few companies that would take you out for a day trip. It has been a long time since I was there but remember that golf was something they were concentrating on developing.
I remember it being a nice little baja town.
Bay of conception is just north of there.
Maybe some fishing too.

Check out glass bottom rooftop pool at the posada de las Flores hotel near the town square.

Cave paintings, marine life, oldest mission in Mexico, desert, mountains.

Oh, the Baja 1000 will be going through town towards the end of the week.

I will be at the Mag 7 pits just out side of town.

Plus, good food in the restaurant around that pool, a great bar on the ground floor in that same building, super from scratch margaritas, take a trip up the mountains to the other church and springs, lots of fresh water up there, the oldest olive tree in the Americas, get one of the local drivers to take you, they know where the wall paintings are, a fun day trip. Take a day trip out to the islands where the guide cooks fresh fish tacos, I even went out fishing with him, of course with Pacificos.
