Bought a BMW today.
Well actually it’s for the wife. First she wanted a Lincoln MKX, or a Jeep. But after she drove this, it’s what made her happy.

Nice purchase! I bought a BMW 328i on Monday, just got home from a 25 mile trip on the freeway and averaged 44.5 mpg.

Nice car! Details?
I have 35k on my F22, no issues whatsoever. Newer BMWs get a lot of hate on this forum...I think if you follow an old school maintenance schedule and keep on top of things they are like any other german car. |

No, but we got the service agreement which is not worth what we paid. I do not recommend.
90,000 miles and the only issues were when I did not challenge the need for a recommended pulley and gasket replacement. They did end up crediting $500 from the final bill when challenged on expense of service. The BMW dealership service system is dreadful. Outside of warranty you are screwed. Now that we are out of agreement, I am trying to land on a local independent my wife will be confident in. |

It’s a 2017 CPO. It has 10,000 miles. 4 year unlimited miles warranty.

I know newer BMWs don't get a lot of love on this forum, but I do love mine. I've become a bit of an evangelist for the 5 series. Mine is a 2011 that I bought exactly 4 years ago as a CPO. I now have a little over 100,000 miles on it. The only problem I ever had with it is that the aluminum rims are so fragile that they get bent just looking at a pothole. Otherwise it's been dead reliable. It's never needed anything other than routine maintenance and wear items. It's actually a lot of fun to drive. It's fun to put the transmission in sport mode and feel all eight speeds kicking in around an on ramp. It has a lot of nicks and scratches from parking in a downtown parking ramp but it still looks like new and the interior has held up perfectly. I think the BMW CPO program can offer a great value.
