Anyone use Greendisk?
 

I'm cleaning out the attic and found a bunch of VHS tapes. Greendisk accepts them and recycles them. Any history of use here? Online search is OK but I do prefer personal experience.

They charge you... plus shipping?

Don't know where you are in NJ, but most town & counties have clean-up days and technology days.

Goodwill takes tech also, not sure about tapes.

Believe it or not, people still use VCR's and VHS tapes to record programs to watch later. And tapes don't last forever so people are always looking for more. An ad on craigslist will rid you of them pretty quick for free. Unless they have private recordings of course in which you should pull the tape and recycle the case with your other plastic.

Are the tapes homemade???

Not if you value your eyesight!!! But no most are pre-recorded, old movies. They've been in a hot attic for years.
