Why this is the greatest Forum ever
Over the years this Forum has helped me tons on all my 911's and my 3.6 conversion. I have been trying to use another car brand bbs to see if anyone else has had like problems so i could fix them, the only answer I got was take it to the dealer over and over again. Then the guys that said they were mechanics at dealers were clueless on a simple switch.
I have decided to dump it and buy an all wheel drive pcar for the winter, im over the other german car. Regardless it makes me appreciate this forum even more, Thank you to all of you Cheers! Last edited by Kevin Stewart; 11-29-2017 at 08:10 PM.. |

I couldn't imagine doing the dozens of the projects I've completed on my 84 Targa.....without Wayne's book and this forum.
This includes my first engine/trans drop two years ago. The info and pics found within this forum..... are truly second to none. Reading tonight from home....as from many, many hotel rooms throughout the US (while on business trips) and even from a handful of other countries....I can clearly say without any doubt.....this forum has become an enjoyable part of my life. Best Wishes to my p-car brothers and sisters, JT ![]() |

yea I agree, Ive done a thread saying the same thing.
there are some INCREDIBLELY smart guys here with not just experience with cars but racing and engineering. what makes it so great is they are not reluctant to share their knowledge, and not to mention the professionals that do it for a living. JW is a prime example. just saw one of his posts yesterday telling someone how to do something. the OP is right. I have been on other sites and all they say is take it to someone or hire a contractor. ( I have been on HVAC sites). I take car of air conditioners at work and sometimes could use some tips, but all you get is hire a contractor. other than that their site is limited to which AC unit is the best. although wayne has added advertising at the top, this site is not flooded with advertisements. I hope it stays that way.

Definitely this forum is second to none! The camaraderie within the community is awesome, always there to help and give advise when someone needs it without any reservations. I'm glad to have found this forum, it is been fun for so many years, and hopefully for more to come!

Yep, I find I get better answers here about non pcars than on forums specifically for those vehicles.

I haven't done a whole lot of mechanical fixes/buying parts from Wayne for my Porsche, but he does provide a valuable service here with all of the tech forums, and some entertainment with PARF, and PPOT.
