Even though it might be fake :)

Zendalar, it looks authentic to me! BTW - At least 50% of Americans voted for the other guy so many of enjoy the humor.

stray15 02-12-2003 05:42 AM

That is pretty funny but it is fake. You can find out how they did it on one of those sites telling you if things are real or fake. No web address though.

Yeah, but he is going to lead 100% of Americans into war. The Iraqies or Bin Laden aren't going to be asking who you voted for before they put a bullet in your head.......Just ask Daniel Pearl..

Roland Kunz 02-12-2003 03:55 PM

Hello

Fact is less then 25% votet for Bush and a other is that Busch´s total was some 1000 votes under Gore´s .....

Let's get back to humour:
How about Frodo has failed.....
Or this speech?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...has_failed.jpg

LOL Isabo,

I think a democrat will be in the whitehouse next election, the US economy is in a downward spiral, and almost everyone I know wonders why we the US are going after Iraq?

I guess it is an easier target that al-qaida which isnt based in any country and cant be easily found..

I am not comfortable with the whole situation.

WOODPIE 02-12-2003 09:26 PM

I think it's funny that I can't find duct tape and 5 mil plastic at the hardware store. That's the 1950's bomb shelter, upgraded for these modern times.

I, too, am not comfortable with the situation. I think oil is a bigger part of this equation than the American public wants to accept. Without the unlikely event of some divine intervention, this war will start, and many good people on both sides will die. For their sacrifice, I'll be able to buy cheap gas from wealthy men who want to be wealthier, and generation after generation of middle-eastern people will hate the country I live in.

A war is not the best solution to this problem, but I sure don't know what is. Yet, I resent France, Germany, and Belgium declining to, at least, appear to be in lock-step with the U.S. I don't think Saddam will be receptive to a diplomatic solution if he sees other fissures through which he can escape.

You know, Isabo, this country is now standing at a heightened state of alert for more terrorist attacks (thus the aforementioned duct tape and so on, what a joke). Would world opinion warm to our side if, oh, say a half-million of us died from some bio-toxin? I'll bet someone somewhere is calculating the spin on that even now.

Happy Thoughts,

Ed

Why on EARTH do people think the DEMOCRATS can save the economy? This whole downward economic spiral started BEFORE THE 2000 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!!!

TimT 02-13-2003 06:16 PM

I never mentioned the democrats could save the economy.... I just observed that there will probably be a change in governing parties the next election

Yes now that you mention it, the economic downward spiral..... wasnt the other Bush in charge then?

I have just finished reading a book called "Founding Brothers" it is about the american revolution and the struggles that the brave and courageous men that founded our nation went through.

I wish Bush and company would read it.....

Washingtons and Jeffersons thoughts were appropos regarding current events......

TimT 02-13-2003 06:16 PM

hmm

RoninLB 02-13-2003 06:28 PM

quotes from TimT

"I think a democrat will be in the whitehouse next election"
--- a small chance

"the US economy is in a downward spiral"
--- it's an unusual recession.. the master plan is to begin stimulus after the 1st 2 years of a presidency, so the economy is OK for election day.. it's routine politics

"and almost everyone I know wonders why we the US are going after Iraq?"
---Iraq is a done deal.. then all the rest of the headaches will fall into line, including N Korea.. it's really "The Art of War"/timeless

"I guess it is an easier target that al-qaida which isnt based in any country and cant be easily found.."
--- I don't know..the big question is, does the US stays in Afg. and Iraq after it's over... and they can be easily found. all you have to do is look for any dogmatic belief system that's a failure.. then they need an enemy to band the believers together/timeless

"I am not comfortable with the whole situation"
--- war sucks.. is it better to have another N Korea type state

TimT 02-13-2003 06:33 PM
