Quebec City at New Years - Any Insider Tips?
Going to be in QC for a couple days around the first of the year. In-laws will still be in town (after 2 weeks) so figured a short break for the wifey and I would be good.
We are staying downtown, not to far from the water. Anyone have some restuarant or bar tips? What about snow machine or dog sled tour operators? Fire away with your thoughts. Thanks.

Stay in the old city, the Frontenac if you can afford it. For new years eve you want to go to Grande Allée.
Also while you're there you are close to some amazing skiing.
