Interesting to see what Alfa contributes besides money and badging.

I guess Sauber has decided to give up all hope of ever winning a race.
Edit. I doubt if any team other than Ferrari, Mercedes, or (in the distant future) McLaren harbor any real hope of winning a race.

People said something similar about KTMs chances of succeeding in MotoGP (M3/M2)racing.

I think it is more of a strategic play from Ferrari in response to the new F1 owners Liberty
Ferrari now has two voices around the negotiating table which I think is a very smart move

Interesting that Sauber has CNBC as a sponsor but NBC dropped coverage due to business conflicts with Liberty.

Exactly right... Now they have 2 votes and 2x the quitting threat (because let's face it, Sauber has not been doing well financially for years). Zero Alfa content on the car, not sure there ever will be, but as an Alfisti and owner of a GTV, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to see the Alfa badge on a F1 car ;-) Such a history...

Watch the Fernando Alonso curse at work... Honda is going to start delivering a great engine in the next few years, which RB might steal unless Aston martin makes them one.. And McLaren will blow up all the Renault engines ;-( Tongue in cheek of course because I'd love to see FA fight Lewis and Seb...
