The police gave me a $300 fine over a minor driving matter that I wouldn't pay. So they threatened to take me to court and appear before a district court judge in a 45 minutes hearing. Most people would get a little nervous, but not our Billy Boy here.

I spoke truthfully :rolleyes: and spoke of how the cop was so angry I thought he was going to punch me (come on ya bastard, you can do it). In fact he was rocking left and right (which is just what Maoris do just before they hit you.) And presented my side of the story in a slow calculated manner. Plus I wore my best suit :)

Case dismissed.

Bingo! Back in 1980, somebody here drove a green Porsche through a radar trap at 137. Later on, I was roused from bed and had 5 cop cars in my driveway. No arrest was made. However, it seemed like every time I drove my old green 911 for quite some time afterward, I had a police escort.

This is what crossed my mind as well, if you did the crime, then you pay the fine !

That was the thing. The pig with the memory (hate filled monster, potential bacon) tried to give me grief. But the courts are the law, not some moron making it up as he goes along, and said no crime has been committed, case dismissed. So I gave pig serious grief. It's on court records, innocent tax paying individual has been harassed and thought he was going to get punched by said pig.

There have been situations where I regret not going before judge to share how "unbalanced" and "uneven-tempered" the LEO appeared to be.

Even if I were to lose...it would be worth it to share my perspective.
