Duc normally does well at Losail, right?

Lately yes. But dang that is fast.

M3 is now qualifying during a small dust storm.

Incredible that the first 9 riders are separated by less than a second. Any performance less than perfect and you're outa there. Rossi just hasn't got the pace and Lorenzo still seems not connected to his bike. Crashlow has a factory ride now and could be a threat. But the young guns are so good that who knows what will happen. Every season seems to get better and better. F1 eat your heart out!

My god. What a high side at Daytona

Valentin Debise was on pole. He was taken to hospital after the crash but has been released wearing a brace. Wow. So glad the young bounce like they do.

Amazing race. 7 guys in it till the final laps, just like a Moto3 race!

Rossi has reinvented himself again, and is riding with a new, MM-like style, trying to drop his center of gravity down and to the inside of the bike. I can't wrap my head around how he's able to do that. It shows where his heart is... he's a racer till the very end.

Jorge who?

Rossi did look great.

As for Jorge, I'm sure there are a bunch of highly paid people in ducati jackets thinking "hmmmm" after this weekend. I really did think he was going to show up, and assume they did too.

Friend of mine was at the race and said the dust and wind was really nasty. Perhaps not a great indicator of what comes next... spain trip, anyone?

The new guy isn't very good but DG was excellent so let's give him time to develop. If he doesn't I'm sure he'll be gone quickly. I'd give Amy a shot at it if she wants it.
