Funny that it's an armoured car but a convertible. The windshield he's holding onto is an inch thick.

Somebody should buy it and hand it over to Xhibit and the boys from West Coast Customs to pimp that ride.
Big dubs Spinners Couple of big screen TV's A Fish tank One of them paint jobs that changes color . Then publicly sell it again for some kind of charity that helps needy children in some kind of empoverished african, mexican or jewish neighborhood. With a bit of luck, it will cause some Neo Nazi's out there to have their brain aneurysm to pop. For ****s & giggles

Pretty sure many Jewish people would disagree, Germany would like to erase history, Jews want it remembered.

Pretty sure that applies to the Holocast, not so much Hitler's convertibles.
There's a whole lot of people that get off over militaria because 'It was used in the actual war". And a small subset of those, get off on gear that was actually used by Nazis. If this car has any kind of historical significance that makes it worth remembering, it should be in a museum, with the right kind of context to make sure people 100 years from now understand what a pos is standing in that car. It should never be an exhibition on it's own, or have any kind of value other then to remind people of the crimes he did. I'm pretty sure the Jewish communities aren't really amused by the sensation that surrounds this car as it now goes up for auction, where by the looks of it , big money will be spent to add this as a "prize piece" to a private collection. I hope it doesn't go that way, and it ends up in a museum, never to be resold again..

I agree but according to the third link in widebody911's post the sellers are making sure that is exactly what it is to be used for.
Closed auction, buyer must be vetted to its intended use.

Must be a similar one at the Sinsheim Technik Museum in Germany. There's a newspaper in the display that's headlined "Das ist Hitlers Panzerwagen" (the one in the newspaper picture, I suppose). PCNA gave me a trip to Germany several years back and it included a quick visit to this museum. I took about hundred pictures in an hour...cool stuff everywhere I looked. Even had a couple of SSTs outside, mounted like they were taking off. Got to go inside one. Recommend this place to anyone who goes over there!
