I did not watch the video. I hate cartoon presentations. Just show me the data.

For many things men do have it easier. On average men are bigger and stronger (duh) and can open a jar of pickles or change a tire with no issues. Many women just don't have the strength to do the tasks of day to day living men do with ease.

That and we are way smarter, and we always look good even without makeup!

Sadly, it's not a cartoon. It's 17 minutes of some random, bearded dude walking through the woods and talking to himself. And I don't know what his conclusion was, because I'm not going to watch 17 minutes of some random, bearded dude walking in the woods and talking to himself

Cliff notes? I made it about 5 minutes in.

And I don't think he's going to provide an answer in 17 minutes. lol

The current 18-30 year old men can change a tyre? The exception, rather than the rule I would guess.

Maybe for some. My nephew came through this area on his way to a new job in a new state. We were happy to have him for a couple of days. Zero doubt he could change a tire. He had a business as a kid of dragging home every lawn mower other people put on the curb for big trash day. He would fix them up, and sell them. At one point he had 17 mowers. Some people would offer him less than his asking price and he would not budge on price. He always sold them for full price.

My brother taught him how to take apart just about anything and fix it.

True, but women also have advantages. When was the last time bursting into tears earned you instant sympathy and absolution from the issue at hand? When was the last time that you acted cute or flirty or suggestive to get what you wanted? Heck, I noticed last night that when my two-month-old daughter wants something, she starts making cute faces as I get closer to doing/getting what she wants and will burst into tears when I'm on the wrong track.

Women have it far easier than men in today's world. They dont need to open pickle jars or change tires, they simply have men do everything for them. They reap the benefits of full equality while cherry picking which parts of that equality they want. In any dire situation its women and children first. You wont hear a women ask for equality in extreme situations. Men are expected to die for women which is why you often hear about the man taking a bullet for his girlfriend "of two months" as in the Las Vegas shootings. The headlines often read " hero MAN saves dozens" Men are expected to give up their seat, open doors, pay for dinner, do the dirty jobs, investigate the noise from downstairs in the middle of the night. I can go on and on. Women have it far easier than men in todays world.

In this world of blurring lines about the responsabilities of each sex (not including the gender confused), it's impossible to know what is expected of a man. Try holding a door open for a feminist, but then recieve hateful stares for not offering your seat to a poor damsel on the bus, or subway. Women can pretty much choose what they want to do, and say, but God forbid a man do that.

berettafan 01-09-2018 08:10 AM

yes.

no period, not bat**** crazy by default, content with a face full of nice tits and a good meal....just all around easier being a man.

I'm not sure what the answer is, however, maybe this sheds some light on the answer:

In the U.S., life expectancy was 73.4 years for males and 80.1 years for females, a difference of 6.7 years, whereas in France it was 7.8 years and in the U.K., 5.3 years. The discrepancy was much greater in some countries, with the difference in Russia reaching more than 12 years, but in others, such as India (0.6 year) or Bangladesh (0.1 year), it was much less.

berettafan 01-09-2018 08:20 AM

probably related to the necessity of women getting a job.

Yes I am. But at least I picked up on it at two months. I'm also hoping the two older brothers will makes things easier/help dad out some.

This will be a discussion forevermore, don't think there is an outstanding advantage either way. Each sex has advantages and disadvantages, up to the individual use the advantages they were born with.

I have a female friend/coworker who would describe herself as a feminist. Oh man, her expectations change by the minute. One day she'll snap at me for holding a door for her, the next day she'll snap at me for not holding the door. One day she told me that she would call me to check out scary noises in her house. One day she snapped at me for offering to check out scary noises in her house.

This. And both have people that chose to be victims of their gender and lash out, feel sorry for themselves, or only see their disadvantages.

Boomers: Think of how much money we could make/save by selling new cars without spare tires!

Also Boomers: Those dang Millenials don't even know how to change a tire!
