Ahem....any nudists out there?

I have to ask though........WHY? JUST WHY??

The swims include kids...

GH85Carrera 01-10-2018 12:32 PM

When I was a youngun we would go to one of my buddies houses. His older brother or dad had some nudists magazines. About all I remember about them was nudists sure play a lot of volleyball ;)

It was better than National Geographic but still very weird. Of course all the people in the photos were young and fit. Al the old geezer men and fat folks were out of view.

So THATS what the Calgary Stampede is all about.

Mark Henry 01-10-2018 02:52 PM

I have been know to to be a nudist inside my own house.
Not so much since we had kids...unless the dash from the shower counts.

Used to skinny dip a lot at the cottage when I was a teen/young adult with friends, but it was often dark out.

The great thing about taking up nudism is you don't have to go out and buy a whole lot of expensive equipment.

LOL I'll bet some will disagree...

When I was a young man just starting my career, there was a guy out in one of the shops who lived at a nudist colony (or "clothing optional community). He would invite everyone who would listen to come out on a weekend for a picnic, pot luck, or whatever.

Finally, a couple of my coworkers took him up on it and went. They were never the same again. The proverbial "cannot be unseen" experience. Turns out just about everyone there really, really should have been polite and exercised the clothing option...

Years ago I went to a nudist resort in So Cal with my g/f at the time. 98% of the clientele were not the type you wanted to see naked, moi included. Luckily this was back in the days before cell phones had cameras or scanning electron microscopes.

From what I have seen of nudists, most of them should refrain for the sake of others....nothing to look at. I suppose it makes them feel better, but do it at home.

Microscopes.

Ha!

I get annoyed at folk who want to stop this kind of thing, whether it be your deal or not. Personally I would rather make it an over-18 event but for many of the same reasons that I would rather not go to a kids restaurant to eat, just too much noise and commotion.

But seriously, one of the charges is that it would be secretly filmed...and just where would you put your camera? And if anyone sees anyone with a camera, don't you think they'd get the living crap beaten out of them?

North Americans spend too much time on this, I mean go to most european beaches, you will see far more than what you want for sure....

They could carry a large guitar around like Peter Sellers

I am not a nudist, but I am a hippie. As it turns out, the reason nudity is such a big deal is because it rarely happens. When it happens more often, people stop even noticing.

And yeah, the girls don't all look like Pamela Anderson and the guys don't all look like John Holmes. Get over it. Once the taboo is gone, it's like a non-thing.

Ok. Best rumor ever.

Years ago, we sent out an invite to lots of families that go to school with our kids. It was for a summer event in rural Oregon, near Paul's. Lots of redneck jokes. Lots of stupid, goofball fun on he invite. In small font in the bottom it said "as always, clothing optional."

We had the event and some months went by. Later, at a neighbors event, she said that she heard the best rumor about our family. THAT WE WERE NUDISTS!!!

It just kills me that there is someone so completely uptight to read past a page of jokes to fixate on people taking their clothes off. Best rumor ever.

Not a nudist but have been in a few *situations* before.

When I was in college 1974ish my uncle invited me and a few friends to the American river (clothing optional) beach. We kept swimsuits on but it was eye opening. A handful of very hot babes, a dozen nude moms with kids, and 50 old fat guys wearing nothing but socks and a smile. Not my thing. Have been to a few others in Cali and Hawaii but mostly outside my comfort zone.

Spent some time in Bern Switzerland and on hot days folks go down and swim in the Aare river. Apparently there was a fabric shortage because nearly all the girls were nude or topless. I was there with my wife and teenage daughters and it was pretty uncomfortable. Swiss girls do seem to be very fit though. 8^)

Back in the day my girl friend & I used to go to Black's Beach north of San Diego. It wasn't a legal nude beach but the authorities never said anything. I eventually quit going because weird people seemed to outnumber normal people after a while. There were lots of regular people, families w/ kids, & then there was that guy humping his air mattress.......

flatbutt 01-11-2018 07:34 AM

There's a nude beach here in jersey...but Green Peace keeps trying to pull them back into the water all the time. Thank you I'm here all week.

vash 01-11-2018 08:38 AM

i'm kinda envious of a person with a "i dont give an EFF!" attitude sufficient for letting it all hang out.

i am seriously way too uptight. while i dont want to go naked in public..i would love to dial back and take myself a bit less serious.

live and let live..
