If you watch the chase scenes in slow motion you will see many extra black tire marks around corners and the same scene filmed from different angles such as the one where they blast past the VW Bug. One thing to remember is that a truly talented driver will out run simulation software nearly every time. This happened with the program that Norbert Singer developed and during testing it did not match what his "test" driver was doing on track. The driver when asked noted I am better than a computer......

This thread got me watching Bullitt chase scenes on youtube, which then got me watching other 70's chase scenes on youtube. PPOT should probably have a decidated 70's car chase thread.
