This is not for new but I use car-part.com for used (e.g., two part Toyota drive shafts) parts and they usually list mileage. It's a bone yard data base.

I also run into new OEM/factory body panels at LKQ. Not all they time but they will know if OEM. I never ask them for smaller parts. May be worth a call?

I can usually find what I need (new OEM Toyota parts) on Ebay or Amazon cheap for my older model (once I research the parts number)...but if not, I use Toyotapartsdeal.com
I always comparison shop. Often a big difference.

Like with most brands, you can find dealers that will discount between 20 and 30% from retail. Occasionally, you can get a couple percentage points more. These will be factory parts, sourced through the official dealer network. I think I generally use Cool Springs Toyota, if I recall correctly.

If you are buying parts off of eBay or through Amazon, most likely you're not getting what you would if you ordered through the dealer network..

OEM Toyota parts with the same part numbers are the same IMHO. Same dealers selling there as dealer network.

I've seen lots of differences. If you get parts that are sourced through a dealer network, you're pretty much guaranteed that they are what they should be. Any other source, and you're on your own. You might get what you want, you might not. There are even counterfeit parts out there, in packaging that mimics legitimate parts. Hard to believe, but true. It's even in parts that you would think wouldn't have enough presence in the marketplace to be worth countefeiting. I sourced a evaporative emission purge control valve for my Audi S8 through a local shop, instead of a dealer. Some months later, they got a notice from Bosch that some of these parts have been counterfeited, and sure enough , mine was one of them. Externally, it was identical. Internally, it was different.

Caveat emptor.
