So instead of water you carry and eat a bunch of bacon when pulled over?

If you drink and drive then might as well enjoy a snack before you get the ride to hotel crossbars.

Just so you aren't contributing to the revenue gathering exercise. AND don't flame me it's advice for people who have had two drinks instead of one... Carry a one liter bottle of water in the car and if you get stopped drink the whole thing. There is no law against drinking water when stopped by police. And you will beat the breathalyzer. Even if they get nasty and take a blood same you will beat that too. If the cop asks why you drank the water just say I really hate you people and the sight of you makes me thirsty. They like that.

Or, have a vodka bottle full of water with a trace of vodka in the glove compartment.
As soon as you get pulled over, take the keys out of the ignition and chugalug it all down as the cop watches through the window.
Then you could argue your BAC went way up AFTER you stopped driving.

No seriously, don't do that. It's a joke.
If anyone actually does that it's your fault, not mine.

Or you sit in the cop's front seat chatting, ride to the station, see the magistrate, get a taxi back to your car, then drive home....perfectly sober the whole damn time ;)

If I had known a cop (like my tennant now, or had one as a family member, he was gonna let me slide) even before the ride...

$afety my a$$ :(

edited...Oh yeah....then the cop lies in court in order to enhance his case....let's call it embellisment of his case....

I was reclining back in my car seat sleeping like a baby at 6 am....in other words:

"Slumped over the steering wheel..."

I was gonna plead guilty anyways...just bs :(

My friends who drive Lyft tell me if you are driving in a bar zone late on a weekend night, you're less likely to be stopped if police think you are a taxi or Uber/Lyft driver.

A cop pulled me over and asked "Have you been drinking? Your eyes look kinda bloodshot"

I replied: "Have you been eating doughnuts? Your eyes look kinda glazed"

I’m 100% in favor of being tough on people who are legitimately drunk driving (most people are terrible enough drivers when sober!) but this is just pandering.

This is one more reason we need self-driving cars.
This kind of stupidity needs to end (on both sides - those who abuse alcohol and then rationalize getting behind the wheel and those who are sucking up to big money interests).

lol that won't stop nothing. You're still drunk and operating a motor vehicle and you be charged for riding in a car drunk that you told with voice commands to drive home
