Have you checked the recent valuations? Do you have the original build sheet by chance?

When I had my 997, my dad would give me grief. He would say, 'why spend all that money on a krautwagon. Get an old big block Chevelle." I had to explain to him that old BB Chevelles were MORE than my 997.

That's a real beauty. If I ever bought one, it's exactly the way I'd want it, i.e. bone stock and showroom condition.

Nice! Good color - not light blue or rose gold ...

Out of my league unfortunately. I used to have olds A bodies, incuding a 442 with the 455.

Does it leak? I see a diaper underneath

GLWS!

Stood and watched a couple of guys total (roll) that car's twin about 35 years ago. Heard them coming about a quarter mile away and they were likely doing about 70-80 when it all went wonky. Knew the car and both passengers...they were both completely drunk and unrestrained but both lived with relatively minor injuries.

Beautiful car.
Brings me back to the late 60s. My cousin had a 396 Chevelle in medium blue. It was a time when the thing to do was cruise around in your new muscle car and look for someone to "run one off." There were serious car guys and there were dilettantes. Many of the guys I knew knew more about the capacity of their dad's checkbook than they knew about cars. Other guys worked overtime in order to make car payments. Live revolved around working, cruising, and screwing your girlfriend.
When you wanted the gas station attendant to fill your gas tank with "motion lotion" you held your hands out horizontally, palms together, then smacked them together, and the lifted the upper hand. That said fill-er up. It was not cool to talk to the guy pumping your gas. Nobody got regular, so there was no need to ask. Only the uncool drove up and asked for a dollars worth of regular, which was 10 gallons and would get your ****box loser car (six cylinder anything) through a night of cruising.
Perhaps that is why I turned to the world of sports cars.

We are, thanks for the support. If you ever have any questions, just call me...you'll talk directly to me. We've worked with Wayne Carini and sold that x50 for him, we've worked with Alloy+Grit on some Rovers. We have some great cars coming up, a nice Z8 we landed, a few D90's, a 993 C4S off-market, a gated F456, and a few others due up.

This is a sweet 396 SS, willing to package sell this with the MB 560SL if anyone has cross-interests.

The beauty of an auction and we have a feature called "Overtime" which is the equivalent of 'the bid goes on' or a Second Chance offering. Top 3 bidders get an offer from the seller at close at or below the reserve price. It's an auction, a bid equals an offer. Give it a shot, never know.
