Bespoke G-wagens and Defenders

If you are interested in a bespoke G-wagen, Land Cruiser or Defender build, please contact me. We have partnered exclusively with a well respected high quality bespoke builder. Costs start at $43k, and go from there. We can do basic/custom builds or full blown PUMA conversions if desired.

Here is more information if you are interested:

Interesting, from the link in the posted comments section.

Hi Vince, thanks for the comment. In the ad we mention the builder Arete (Automobili), and all of the pictures you see are their work. These trucks are being sourced in Europe, restored in Poland, and shipped to the US. References are available as well. AllVette is the US representative, and they can/will chime in with more information.

Yes, we fully disclose who is doing the actual builds, they have turned over all communications and are only Bus to Bus now.

I thought the word was reserved for clothing.

Speaking of which: bespoke tailors- they make $500 cycling trousers.

Mainly because when I've used "custom", people's immediate perception is blinged out 22" wheels and touch screen DVD's in the head rests a la Pimp My Ride. And although we could and have added RSS carbon fiber seats to a Defender and touch screen GPS, we're not a customizing shop...the builds are made specifically to order, stitching pattern and colors, OEM bolt-ons, etc. I know I get it, sounds pretentious...not meant to be. It's just to distinguish between what you get at a wal-mart Defender resto/custom shop vs a tailor made suit.

If you want it and can afford it and get the appropriate amount of enjoyment it’s not wasted.

We -are talking about cars. Hardly ever good on paper.

22" bling notwithstanding...I'm mostly disappointed in their failure to capitalize on using "TOYZ" for another misspelling in their store name

I'm with John. The word makes me want to punch somebody. I am as laid back chill as anyone could be...

No single word impacts me to that degree, but I do get that fired up about overhead power lines and all the unnecessary maintenance and visual atrocities they create

It was said tongue in cheek, even though the word was overused and potentially misused.
