BahnCard, Are they worth it?
Plan to spend some time in Germany this summer. Considering buying the BahnCard 50 online. Anyone use it? Other recommendations?
Main things to hit are the Siegfried Line and the cat's head. I have access to bases/posts, and will be flying Space A back to the states. So I have a very open schedule.

Last time I took a train in Europe was when I was too young to rent a car. If you're alone, it's probably a wash for money, but a rental car is always faster. If you have someone with you, renting a car is definitely cheaper.

![]() I will have a rental car for 10 days before I do a month long program at the university in Regensburg... After that, i'll play around until I run out of money, and end up at Ramstein AFB trying to catch a Space A back to the west coast. ![]() the Bahncard 50 is only 8 euros a month. I am barely under the age limit before it increases. I'm thinking it might be worth it.
