Old hooters thread....fill me in...

I was reading a post earlier this morning, and someone mentioned that thread starter had taken his own life :(. Can't remember who?
Though I've been here a long time, I sometimes take long vacations, and I'm sure I've missed other troublng news over the years...but this is bothering me. Don't mean to be crass, but can someone at least tell me who...don't need any more details...PM will suffice if you don't want to post....thanks!

Sad news already delivered....no need for further replies...thanks!

I'd like to know also. I think I know who it was but can you PM me please?

I thought so. I remember his "Wife" thread that went South.

RIP Mark.

I hope his Mom & Wife are doing well.

That was a while ago now. It's been covered here quite a bit and some people actually wanted to reach out to his wife until it was pointed out that she had apparently gotten over it quicker than one would imagine.

I'm curious about his 911S targa project and other valuable cars but I'd imagine they've been sold off.

I always liked Mark and appreciated his pic's of "Wife in the Garden" thread - He got a lot of heat for that one! Obit:

It doesn't take much to find his wife on FB, and indeed she did get over it very quickly as I recall......both his and her FB is an open book, still.

The lesson to me is that when someone posts boastfully on how many toys they have and how great their life is, it may not be so. Poor bastid...hope he's at peace.

He was quite kind to my (then 10-12) year old son at the Irvine C&C one year. Very generous with his time and showing as the SL.
