Shoes that you don't care that they look like this when you come home.
Salt will do that to them. Especially if it just snowed and it's warming up.

Look at Toronto's The Path system. Downtown business core is all connected via pathways and shops. If your in that area you might not even have to bring a coat

I went to a Starbucks or whatever in DT Toronto one fine summer morning. No, it was a Horton's. Anyway, the coffee shop was situated I think on Young(?) Street? Right between the banking and fashion districts and just down the street from the Shoe Museum.

I got comped a room at some swanky hotel DT and didn't know what to do with myself so I walked out the door and right into a lampost. Saw something that said COFFEE and went in. |
