Wife wants to keep her good car and add small SUV (AWD) for winter: So, looking for maybe something 8-10 yrs old, 100K miles or less, spending 10-12K..No Thax to German makes at this time...Willing to travel a 1,000 mile radius from Seattle. Prefer Private party vs Dealer. Keep UR eyes/ears open please:

Not that you're looking for testimonials or recommendations, but my wife has been driving her `06 RX330 for eleven years and about 150K miles. I've owned over seventy-five cars during the course of my life, but never one with the combination of comfort and bulletproof reliability of this generation of Lexus RX.

OK...since Bush ain't the blame :)....I'll ask. What years for the Lexus RX...I'm trying to get my parents to consider one or something similar instead of a sedan. They're in their 80s, don't drive much... I think something like that with less than 100k would be perfect.

Gonna go looking for RX330s now....

04'-06's are under 100k miles are all under $10k around here.

Hard to find with less than 80k on the clock.

Seems 06' is the newest you can find within 500 miles of Dallas.

Quick search showed a few....maybe a little too old too. Any info on their successor...probaby looking for something in the 12-15K range...

I gave my 04 RX330 to my sister and she had it for 5 years until she got a company car. It survived her, and she killed a Previa before she hit 90k.
