Natalie Woods back in the news

I know, I'm not a judge, but I never ever believed Robert Wagner on this.

I always had a sneaking suspicion that Wagner and Walken were caught in the act by Wood and they killed her to keep it quiet.

Same as all those years ago, really no evidence. Murder? Accident? We'll never know.

I'm guessing that today, there are some officials who want to be in the news...thus the bringing it all up again.

She was a true beauty...

Yeah, friends are big fans of his so I heard a lot about this.

Dunno what happened there, 40 years is a long time, I question if anything can be proved this far down the line. I presume there is no evidence that has survived and anyone who remembers what happened has got to be... what... over 70? Were there not only a few people on the boat when this happened?
(playing devils advocate) There is also talk of heavy drinking, easy for a group to get blotto on a boat, someone to fall overboard while everyone else is passed out/asleep.
There is also talk of a missing dingy, I stepped off a boat into a dingy once, the dingy flipped and I went into the ocean.

For instance my buddy has a fishing boat, they usually leave Friday night and motor all night to get out to the fishing grounds. My friend is considered the captain so he drives while the other guys sleep. One night he went to the back of the boat to take a leak... one of his buddies woke up, saw him doing that and yelled at him "you idiot! If you had fallen off the back of the boat you would be dead!"

these people were tied up in Avalon, not moving. I doubt she went to the back of the boat to pee and fell over, couldn't swim and wouldn't yell. I remember when it happened and thought R Wagoner's story was pretty weak. plus there were three other people on the boat, something was always wrong with this story.

I'm with you, Dean - I've never believed Wagner's story. Whether intentional or not, either he or Walken knows exactly how Wood died.

I've had this recurring dream for decades that I murdered someone and that I live my life in fear of being discovered at any moment. Very unsettling. I imagine that's the way these 2 have lived the past 40 years.

Glad to hear I'm not alone. Although I have now idea who I murdered I know exactly where my dream-world victim is buried and, whenever I've dreamt about it, find myself genuinely fearful that they'll be discovered. It's been dormant for many years now - we'll see if you've caused it to return.

This times ten thousand! No way they are going to convict on a supposed murder that happened 40 years ago. Someone is fishing for $$$ (think the captain is putting out a book).

I'm sure the boat had very nice bathrooms i certainly wasn't suggesting she went to take a leak off the back of the boat but no matter how calm it is (and I have been in Avalon harbor at night when the wind is blowing and it gets a pretty rough)... if you are sheet-faced drunk it is easy to slip and fall off the back of a boat. Walken was on the boat because he and Woods were doing a movie.

the article doesn't say anything about bad weather and it does say Walkin and Woods might have been having an affair that pissed Wagner off.

Interesting... I don't know my victim or any of the details. Only that I murdered someone.

We're getting off topic here but I always wondered if mentally sick and criminal people have dreams where they commit heinous acts? I have dreams where I'm doing something that's socially weird but for the most part nothing that could be considered felonious. Meaning the morals I have in my waking life are pretty much the same morals I have when dreaming.
