Wow, has Downs Syndrome. There was a time when they never would have considered a baby that wasn't "perfect".

Coolest ever. Saw family on Today show. The kid is awesome. My nephew has d.s., he is 44 years old, lives with my sister and husband. A great kid, ne, young man. Loves to ride in my 996 Cab. Always smiling, not a worry in the world....

The CBC reported yesterday on this, and they noted that Gerber Life, Gerber's insurance branch, won't insure children with Down's. Not sure if that's Canada only, but a sad irony indeed.
