Some of those predictions are valid and interesting but I think overall it won't be as quick as stated.

Maybe plausible is a better term than valid?

My guess is that in the list of 20 there will be a couple approaching correct - with extended time windows. However, there will be a unique list of situations that rival the Kodak demise.

Interesting stuff, but I think widely off the mark in timing regarding the electric and autonomous cars... I think it'll be way more progressive and land softer...

I welcome our robot overlords.

Easy to kick back and suppose the society will trod a logical intelligent path to the future, but then stuff happens:

Almost every item in that list is comically wrong and reflects the intellect of a 12 year old reading SciFi books. Someone who doesn't understand basic economics.

Don't let facts get in the way.

The batteries recycle just fine. The current problem is there aren’t enough of them to make large scale recycling profitable. There are recycling companies gearing up to be ready for - and to profit from - recycling EV batteries.

My understanding is that, with current tech, it costs more than double to recycle lithium than to prominence and process it. So maybe those batteriesrecycle just fine, but there is no financial incentive to do it.
The time lines in that write up are honestly laughable. Some of those things may come to pass, but certainly those are more wild ass guesses than valid predictions.

Personally I would rather go back to the way it was around 1970.
