Bump... in an effort to get this to show after yesterday's forum issues.

Well........I don't name my guns...

(He's right on the other four.)

JavaBrewer 02-12-2018 06:54 PM

The guy can tell a story :) And he's mostly correct, not just for white guys, but gun owners in general.

Thanks for my morning laugh Jeff! "that's between you...and whatever happened to you in your childhood". HA!

I don't name my guns, but I do have the silencing ear muffs....you can still talk normally while firing !

They wear ear muffs and nose plugs at your range?

This picture would indicate that you're not very good at it.

:d:d:d

Don't have grouping pictures of the SIG but it's fun to shoot with, bang of a .308 and recoil of a pellet gun :p

Jeez, you would need pretty good ear muffs to be firing that thing in an indoor range. Even at our outdoor ranges I wear ear plugs and ear muffs.

Always wear eye protection on a range. Even if you are not shooting. I was standing around chatting while some guys were shooting speed steel some distance away then YEOW, I had a bit of lead sticking out of my chin and blood running down my neck LOL.

The range by my house in Georgia would let me shoot a .50 BMG on their 5-lane indoor 100 yard range. It was not pleasant. I had to wear ear muffs over my ear plugs. The muzzle brake would blow everything off of every lane table. Shooting in any lane other than the center lane produced an unpleasant sensation as the blast wave rebounded off the nearest side wall.

Cool!

I was at our outdoor range a few years back. Some very nice younger black guys shooting nearby. And the situation was like above, one gun, vs. my having a bunch...

Anyway. I tidy up and as I'm leaving, one very pleasantly asks me if I can look at his pistol. He thinks something is wrong with it. I think it was a Glock in .380. Anyway, I shoot it a few times on his target, at 5 yards, and put three nearly through the same hole. His buddy looks over and just busts out laughing...
