did you all ever discuss Seinfeld's car and coffee show?

i like it. there are some surprising cars on that show.

i just like to put it on for background noise while i am cooking in the kitchen. his personal 911RS made the show. he said, "a car like this changes hands only if someone dies. i got it when someone died, and it will be sold when i die"..(i paraphrased)

i love when two great comedians just yuck it up. the wit and banter can be amazing!

I though the Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks one was very intriguing. I loved when he picked up deli food and went over to Carls house to watch TV with him and Mel, using the typical card table you see in every home in America. I felt like a curtain had been pulled back and you really got to see behind the scenes.

Speaking of Jerry, I have VIP tickets to see him in 2 weeks here in Florida, we went 2 years ago and we were sore from laughing so much.

Really looking forward to going again.

The VIP is the only way to do a show, we are on a balcony with maybe 50 other people, open bar, buffet and very clean bathrooms with no lines.

I want to like it but mostly, I find they're not as funny as they think - lots of laughing at their own jokes (or non jokes). Then again I never got Seinfeld (the show). Cool cars, occasional good guest, I wish there was more Car and less coffee....

Well, that sucks, it used to be available on a free website, now you have to subscribe to Netflix.

Great show. Been watching for a while now. Watched the one with Alec Baldwin last night. Irregardless of how you feel about him, he is hilarious “off the cuff”. Very articulate and quick witted.

The one with Gary Shandling is sad, took place just a few days before Shandling died..

Jerry and Gary were joking that Gary was still alive... few days later, he wasn't.

I've seen that one on Pelican, several others on You Tube. Check it out.

IMO this was the best one of the lot. There was something just so cool and so reassuring that Reiner and Brooks get together daily and eat dinner on TV trays. And as Jerry exited you hear the strains of Jeopardy coming through the screen door. So so cool!

Really liked it on Netflix. Lots of great shots of the cars that he drives. Most seem to not belong to him.

+1
I want to like it and I’ve tried, but I haven’t made it through the first 10 minutes of any episode.

Pretty sure that you can just watch episodes on Youtube. You might have to sit through a commercial for each one but still free.

He only sold like 3. Very much still has Porsche’s.

I really like the show. Some guests are better than theirs for sure. Check out the one with Trevor Noah.

The one with Leno was good too, they reminisce about the old days. Neat show for sure.

Just read online he makes $750,000.00 PER EPISODE of comedians in cars getting coffee.......... like he needs to money ! But hey if you can get that kind of scratch go for it . Won't be too much longer and his net worth will be a billion dollars .
