Great job!

I wonder if all the young ladies tagging #metoo realize it can be read as "pound me too..."

You whippersnappers don't know the correct # usage:

#ifdef SHARKJUMP

#include <threadisdone.h>

#endif

No, not so hip.

The U.S. is practically alone in calling it the pound sign. The rest of the world knows "£" as a "pound" sign. There is a back story to it.

And the US is the only country to have multiple working rovers on Mars for many years.

Yeah, we have a lot of resources and good people with good ideas. A competitive nature doesn't hurt either.

Most of the scientists and engineers that got those rovers there mostly used the Metric system to do it. Not every American convention is the best.

I doubt that. Only because I worked my entire career in aviation, and Imperial Standard is still the world-wide standard for aviation, not metric. Every European, Canadian, and Asian aerospace company I ever dealt with uses Imperial Standard. These are the companies building those rovers and the rockets to get them there, so I suspect Imperial Standard is used there as well. Maybe we have a real rocket scientist who can tell us. ;)
