Code requires the space in front of toilet to me no less then 24" so fitting in an elongated bowl can be a challenge. Plus the drain cam be moved back an inch or two. If not, Toto makes a trap way for some of their toilets (fits inside, right behind the bowl) so it can be moved back closer to the wall.

Our elongated toilet upstairs has a larger exit tube than the older round toilet in the downstairs bathroom. I keep telling the family that all LARGE transactions should be done upstairs, lest they don the plunger in an aggresive fashion.

Get a Toto, and you'll never need the plunger again.

Elongated.

A930Rocket 02-23-2018 06:34 PM

Elongated and comfort height.

A round toilet is like trying to take a dump in a one gallon paint can. :(

Shoulda called me. My offer to Scott would be the same to you.

Hey, you still can. Its just a trap way that gets installed. Pull your toiler and bolts right in. Your Toto sales person should know better and offer that to you.

What they hell did we do before the elongated toilet came around? Did our dicks grow that much? I have a regular Toto in our bathroom but have the elongated in the masterbath. I made sure I have enough room in Masterbath to create another room just for the crapper and for that bad boy in there. I use the regular round bowl plenty more then the one in the Master. Its works fine. Sure its a bit more comfortable but the round bowl works for us just fine.

Here you go, Cliff. They make a 12 and 14". The 12" should be the most common to push that Toilet back.

I only suggest their 1 piece unit to prevent leakage between tank and bowl.

Why is this even a question? Who makes a round crapper? People without a dick!?

If I had my way, in the next house I would have a squat toilet. My wife thinks I am nuts. So isn't going to happen.

GEorge, when you are ready, you let me know. I will measure your ass and make you a custom sq toilet (seat) to ensure the perfect fit with the utmost comfort:D

I want to make oversize toilets (that fit a standard drain flange) for those extreme overweight folks. CAn you imagine those big asses sitting on a standard toilet with 20 lbs of extra meat hanging over both edges on the side? It has to hurt and very uncomfortable. I will makes millions and be the most PC company on earth. maybe its will become a medical device and charge 10 times over a regular toilet

There are already fat people toilet seats. I don't know if you could get obese people to install fat people toilets even? I shudder to think about the process ... :eeek: I will definitely keep posting on the weight loss thread instead.

I think you'd be hard pressed to even find a squat toilet to install in the US. May need to find a "grey market" import form Asia! I definitely won't climb on a platform, have water splash up and even fall off half way through business.

Ah - bathrooms - almost as good as the rattlesnake threads!

My toilets have been ordered week ago. I should get them delivered this coming week.

We were just reviewing the receipt more closely, and noticed the word elongated right ther at the bottom. Oh o!

I looked at the spec sheet. 28.5”. Pulled a tape. My current round toilets are at 29”. I’m good to go. I meet code anyways.

I have a bad habit of not closely scrutinizing paperwork, unless it’s for work. I need to work on that.

Thanks Look. I should have tried your contact. I had another PPOT offer way back in the past and it didn’t even come close to working out. Haha.

Every nurse coworker/friend from my wife’s place is coming over to try the toilets. I’ll probably spend that weird weekend off camping. :)

Technically, the squat toilet is one sise fits all. I hate them. I had to use one on a moving train. Like an olden days train. Bumpy and swaying. No TP. There was a hose to wash up your ass.

When you flush you saw the tracks.

The hose bib snapped off on me. It was like I was inside a dish washer. NOT IDEAL!

Laugh if you must.

My large intestine is as empty as Louis CK's booking ledger.

That's funny well, not when its happenning to you. I have been on those trains where you saw the tracks through the hole:eek: and have used those squat hole in the floor type bathroom along with the shower all in the same place. if you missed your foot step or slip on the soapy floor, that's it. I discovered tp is not provided for you in trains or many restaurants. Neither are napkins in many eateries.

I will try my best to get you stuff at my cost if I can make it work with a shop up your way. Shouldn't really be an issue?

i really don't think they will past code here. I wonder what they use in Eastern Europe?
